Introduced JAMF to the company to manage all apple devices and have a MDM in place to keep track of all inventory, maintained / deploy software, respond to security threats, Manage Apps, keeping track of asset

 

Deployment:

1. Push Certificate:

• A push certificate is an encrypted file generated by Apple that establishes trust between Jamf Pro and the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to allow secure communication to devices enrolled in Jamf Pro.
• Choose a jamf server URL with Jamf support and configured the IAM
• Configured SSO with google workspace
• Generate a certificate signing request ( CSR) from Jamf Pro and and upload it to apple push notification service portal.
• The CSR allows Apple to generate a unique push certificate for a specific Jamf Pro server
• The push certificate is then uploaded to Jamf Pro to establish trust with APNs

2. Volume Purchasing Integration:

• Jamf Pro's volume purchasing integration syncs with Apple Business Manager (ABM) to automatically populate your apps and books in Jamf Pro for managed distribution to devices or users.
• Setup apple business manager (ABM) account and created a service token (.vpptoke) and upload it to Jamf pro
• Configured automated device enrollment integration - Zero Touch Deployment ( ZTD)

3.  Jamf Pro Configuration

• Configured the groups, policies, configuration profiles,
• Setup packages and script to auto deploy all the packages

 

Became the subject matter expert and successfully deployed JAMF to 250+ devices company between Canada, India & Sweden
