Hardware:

Deployment:
Networking:
- Perform all the initial configuration of the switch and update the ISO's of the switch
- Populate all the default configuration including vlans, name, daily backup jobs
- Created a port channel between the existing and new nexus switch and connect both with Fabric Inter-connect provided by Data Center
- Configured Default- Gateway
- Assigned Management IP on both nexus switch
- Configured vpc between both Switches
Dell Chasis:
- hookup all the power cables and RJ45 to assigned management ip's on all iDrac's including chasis mangement controller ( CMC), dell force switches (DFS) and all the blades,
- Configured the stack between both DFS using QSFP cable and applied the stack configuration
- Perform all the initial configuration of the switch and update the ISO of the switch
- Populate all the default configuration including vlans, name, daily-backup jobs
- Assigned all the interfaces to the right vlans so that blades can be accessed in production environment
- Created an uplink configuration between Chasis and Nexus using SFP cables.
- Login to each blade and configured DNS, Default gateway, name
- Upgrade the blade with the latest dell driver package
- Configured RAID
